New rbb pilot application goes on air today

The new MPAT created pilot application for “Täter Opfer Polizei” goes on air today.

An early version was piloted in May to supplement the last episode before the summer break. During summer, the application was rebuilt, enhanced and extensively tested.

The main focus of the pilot (in regard to the MPAT project) is the inclusion in the routine work flow at the broadcaster site.

Other MPAT applications have usually been fully pre-produced before the TV programme went on air, while the “Täter Opfer Polizei” application will need to be regularly updated to fulfill the needs of supplementing a topical programme.
